People IS Bus
bus broke his bones and now its time to return the favor. help bus get to bus stops. please
a/d: move
w: jump
space: throw
j: brake
r: restart
cheat codes (intended solutions) on the utube video. these were jam version, but some of them still work
post jam changes:
levels
-new levels
-updated some old levels
-removed jam version final level
-input tutorial for a/d to move and w to jump
bus + units
-can't jump onto bus from below it
-bus top platform no longer has side collision
-bus maintains velocity after its dropped
-units stay on bus better if bus is thrown while on it
-units are deactivated if they fall off screen instead of landing on platform below the level
-units only fall down if they drop from a higher distance (increased from 2 tiles to ~5 tiles). units still fall down if bus is thrown on single unit
misc
-volume slider is labeled and starts at full volume
no further plans for now. i have a lot of fun ideas for new mechanics, but have some other projects i need to finish first

This Game is awesome reminds me to BoxBoy from 3Ds
game be bussin'!! outstanding work!!
bus be cute, bus be reckless (game be very well presented)
Could you add 'R' to reset to the controls description below the game?
This is great. It made me grin from ear to ear. Getting the little people stacked on top of each other can be kind of frustrating though.
Thanks for suggestion, I added!
There's a clean intended solution for all the levels, but the past couple days I've seen all kinds awesome unintended wonky solutions that make things more complicated than they need to be xD
A big part to blame is clarity in the level design. I only had 3 hours left when I started creating the levels and there's a few unnecessary things in some of them that have lead players away from the easier intended way
Thanks for play!
The phrase "people is bus" is a philosophical statement that holds profound meaning. It reflects the idea that human beings are constantly engaged in a state of busyness, often consumed by various tasks, responsibilities, and pursuits. It speaks to the fast-paced nature of modern life, where individuals find themselves caught up in a perpetual cycle of work, obligations, and societal expectations. Moreover, "people is bus" suggests that busyness has become a defining characteristic of our existence, overshadowing other aspects of life such as personal well-being, self-reflection, and meaningful connections with others. It invites us to question whether this ceaseless busyness is truly fulfilling or if it prevents us from living a more balanced and purposeful life. Ultimately, this phrase serves as a reminder to examine our priorities, seek moments of stillness amidst the chaos, and rediscover what truly matters in our pursuit of happiness and fulfillment.
truly a masterpiece of our time, makes u think really deep philosophical questions, like people and how they is bus?
